Miami is a restaurant city. Every corner overflows with a space that serves up tantalizing treats to tempt and entice you. Chefs from every corner of the globe are cooking up the unusual to the mundane. Be it Italian, French, Cuban, Columbian, Chinese, Japanese…I could go on, but you get the point. We even have some eclectic pairings like a Chinese Jewish Deli that serves Mushu alongside a bagel, lox and shmear. Thai with Japanese is an all time Miami favorite. We love that, diversity in dining. It’s what makes Miami, Miami. Keeping with this diversity, a new place opened on Miami Beach recently that has a full Mediterranean menu and a sushi bar. To top it all off, it’s kosher. Surprisingly, this unusual and interesting combo works.

Folks on Miami Beach along 41st Street love their Mediterranean fare and are flocking to Asi’s Grill and Sushi Bar for one reason, the food is fresh and prepared by one of their favorite people, the owner, whose name is on the sign. He made a name for himself at another eatery, serving up authentic food from his homeland and now has people flocking to his place.
